Casa de la Cuesta is situated 1.5km from the nearest village of Santa Cruz del Comercio. Its elevated position amongst Olive and Almond trees affords panoramic views of open countryside. To the south the market town of Alhama de Granada can be seen with Maroma (2069m) behind.
Santa Cruz del Comercio is a typical small Spanish village with three bars, one of which serves good quality reasonably priced food. There are two well stocked shops and a market in the village square on Wednesday mornings. The village hosts many fiestas throughout the year where everyone is welcome. Free food and drink is served along with singing and dancing into the early hours.
Casa de la Cuesta offers a peaceful setting for a relaxing holiday whilst being within easy reach of many attractions and areas of interest.
